Google vs. Facebook ?!?

Every blogger knows 2 of the biggest sites that helps them get the traffic  , followers , and the information  they need is Google and Facebook but are they in competition ? The other day I was going back and forth thru google and facebook and I notice that they are almost the same when it comes to blogging or networking . It’s so many features between them that gets you thinking and word on the street is that google tried to buy facebook the $ 11.5 billion company it’s enough to get you scratching your head . 

Lets get social .

The best thing about Facebook and Google is that you get to socialize with people all over the world with ease . They both have the following twitter thing going on but what’s got me is who copied who ? They’re both easy to use and they commit to the growth of any blog but I would most likely choose facebook over google when it comes to social tools Facebook is better because they have been doing this for a while and it’s more easier to use because people respond to a Facebook feed/status instantly  which is what people want when it comes to socializing with their followers but you gotta admit that google had a good run when it came down to this .

Promoting a business .

Facebook and google are very good for businesses when it comes down to it hands down but which one is better . My vote is google because they have more experience when it comes to business promotion  with website tools such as google places , pages , site maps and much more that makes promoting a business very easy . There’s also facebook with the fan pages that’s  is very easy for you to communicate with your fans which makes it a very helpful promotion plan they also have business widgets and applications that contribute to your work as well .

The ppc program .

Rumor has it that the real reason why google wanted to buy facebook is because of their ad ppc program which no one understands why google would want another ads program . Some people have said that no one barely knows about the facebook ad programs and the competition is very low which means dirt cheap clicks but large traffic increase and that it soon might be bigger than google when it comes down to it .  If it came down to it I would also try to buy competition especially when its a good investment for the future but then again that’s just me .
